About Me

Migna's story begins in New York City's lower east side, where poverty, violence, and negative influences clouded her days. A powerful sisterhood of five and a mother's love helped her survive, and her strong spirituality helped her transcend.

Migna's faith has influenced her life and artistic vision. Her prayers to God in poetic form reflect a sacred devotion and continuous search for clarity and understanding.

Life led her on a brief journey away from New York to Washington, DC, but love and a familial bond brought her back to the neighborhood in which she grew up and now lives.
